    Another excellent shot, Thelma! Some will probably caomplain about the right wing being ‘burn’t’ but one has to rather look at the overall effect in this case – the left wibg and underside (shadows) are perfectly exposed. The lighting in this pic is almst surreal with bright sunlight an the subject and now light anywhere else, like the subject flying in a pocket of sunlight!

    The way the bird stands away from the black background makes it something special for me.
