On a dark and rainy night I took these two photographs with a flash from inside the house towards the verandah with the light on outside.

Well done on the use of 2nd curtain flash mode. Pity about the drops on the lens. A bit distracting on the overall photo.

What an interesting effect. Very unusual! Agree about the drops on the lense but how can that be avoided?
