Hi Lonnie – long time no see…so, welcome back! I am not the studio expert around – but this gets a good ‘thums-up from me! Lighting on the face ma be a little bit hard, but I just adore the slight shade on the left that gives depth to the image. I do miss a sparkle in the eye though. Some purists may have a prob with the shadow on the ground, but I am fine with it – from me, overall a good shot!
with kids i am careful not to push lighting as it can give the wrong idea,
keep the light were it is but just get it lower down to remove the shadow cast on the face, and shoot slightly more from the right,
nothing wrong with this.
let me know what you have and i can try and help remotely
Much appreciated Mike.
I bought a U2 Photon light kit with 3x 200W lights(2 softboxes, 1 umbrella).
Already did a shoot with them for a bridal designer.
Will post some for comment.

Thanks Pikkie.
First go with the lights – experimentation in progress!
