Shooting into the sky is tough and you have waxed exposure completely. Maybe you want to pass some comments on your settings and how you shot them? I like the second one the most because of the “anticipation” in the photo. Difficulty high and the shots are great

  2. Francois commented:

On Facebook I certainly would have pressed the ‘I Like’ button.

Every one great because BIF shots are not easy well done

  4. Pikkie Langenhoven commented:

Denis @ I shoot in AV almost all the time.
    f6.3 – f8
    1/1600sec – 1/4000sec
    ISO 200
But I think the tric was one I “stole” from uncle Ben. Exposure bias @ -0.3 up to -1
I dit use PS to do minor adjustments in shadows and highlights and all the other “normal” adjustments.
    Thanks for the compliment !

Ah Man, nice in action Kelp Gulls and you got great speed at low ISO, always a winner. White birds at -0.7 is always my start off point when in the air. On green, BG, it does not always work. ± 0 Ev is then better. I love the angel wings and the interaction, but also would love to see them bigger! Mooi gedoen, Pikkie!
