Where shutterbugs unite to share their wisdom, skills and resources

This image was taken with a Nikon D700 and 200-400mm lens at an airshow at Heidelberg. It was a dull overcast day and the sun only came through periodically. I managed to get this one on one of those rare occasions.
Very nice capture Willem. Great detail and very nice light. I would guess your shutter speed to be 1/200? Well done!
(BTW the images of the Harvards I posted was taken at Swartkops)
Great picture Willem – wish I’d taken it.
Between yourself and Ben, you are really showing the world ho an airshow should be shot, Willem. Excellent shot – just a question about the colour of the sky was it sort of overcast or is the gre sky a result of post processing?
Ben Pikkie Faan. Thanks for your comments. You should also give a number out of 10! – PLEASE.
Pikkie – It was a dull overcast day and the sky was grey. I think the pp made it slightly more grey.
Ben – S/s was 1/500, ISO 400 F13 (-0.3) at 400mm. I do not record these settings because their effect is altered in the pp of hoe?
Very, very beautifully captured when sun came through,
colour of the sky looks fine, brings out the colour on the planes, gave it 9 out of 10!
Kieta – Thanks you will be rewarded for your generosity!
