Girl 3
This girl is a real sweety. She has eyes that talks to you without saying a word. I like that. We made use of a “another huge octabox” worth about R20.000 (a bit better than the previous one) and this is the results. I had my camera on manual, ISO 100, with Mike you almost never increase your ISO and I agree totally. We played with different f/stops that varies between f/8, f/11 and f/14 even. Shutter speed basically 125.

Amelia – these are…great portraits and in comparing your three posts it really seems like you could save a couple of RK’s as the ‘cheaper’ one renders excellent results! Will comment in more detail as soon as I can steal a little time somewhere – thanx for sharing!
The lighting here is the Jinbei TD170 umbrella with a 400w flash this is all you need to do this kind of clean lighting as we were short of space i could not setup as well i would have liked to do but this could be done in the length of a single garage,with this light you stand directly in front of it to get the great catch light

Dankie oom Ben, oom val definitief nie uit die bus uit nie, laat ek nou maar ‘n makro foto probeer doen, dan dink ek ek sal dit nie maak nie. Dis die wonderlike van fotografie, dit waarvoor jy lief is om af te neem daarin sal jy meer uitstaan….want “practice makes perfect”!
