Is this HDR or is the sunn really bright from behind? I rather like the effect but it does feel a wee bit unnatural.

No not HDR. That was what it looked like. At Hartbeespoortdam, after a later afternoon rain. Was amazing to see.

The poles and other signs of civilisation spoil this image, which is such a pity because you have managed to capture amazing light which I call “twilight” Friedrich. One doesn’t see it often and usually only after a shower of rain in the late afternoon. Here you seem to have it before the rain?
