   Pollok Park is a 659 acre park near me and one of my favourite places. Glasgow has 78 parks. Points please, I would appreciate knowing how others view my work. Did I say “work?” More like a pleasure:-)

   Thanks for the encouragement Kieta and Danie. These are Beech trees and you are right Kieta, it is wonderful to be in this forest. Pollok Park was voted as the best park in Europe in 2008.

   I agree with the others Faan – great place, great shot! Light and colour make the shot – good depth and dof also

   Love the subject and you have the lighting and colour perfectly. Personally, I would have prefered a little more of the path as a lead in to the shot. This would chop off even more of the tops of the trees so I would have gone for a portrait to accentuate the height.

    Stunning shot Faan, and it is a little nostalgic for me too ….I grew up in Pollok / Pollok Shaws and used to play in this park as a wee bairn. Thanks for sharing, lovely colouration.

    Faan. This works very well for me. Perhaps Don’s point of a little more of the path in the foreground may make it even more striking. Baie baie mooi gedoen Faan!
